It's 32 and sprinkling, with an on-again, off-again breeze. AccuHunch is calling for an 80% chance of a rain/snow mix ... but then, they always forecast rain. For every day. Even in a drought.
Legislative alert: the Alaska Firearms Freedom Act passed the Senate yesterday, and so has been sent to Gov. Parnell for his signature.
Well ... getting back to the weekend: we have a number of tasks today (meaning I've been told what I shall do with my time ... grin). I've just cleaned the exhaust fan housings in the bathrooms; checked the air in the car & truck tires; put air in the car tires; run to the bank & withdrawn my allowance for the next two weeks.
Then we're going to disassemble the sectional in the living room, and whilst my Better Half is cleaning along the walls behind it, I'm going to hang a new curtain road above the big window. She sewed a voluminous valance last night, and it will go on the rod.
I need to rearrange the mass storage in the garage to allow access to my rolling tool cabinet. We'll need to take the empty LP canister back to the bigbox store & get a full one. Then I'll clean the cobwebs (if any - we don't have much in the way of spiders here) from the grill, and get it ready for summer. We picked up some spray-on cleaner for the grate, and I want to see how well it works. I suspect there's scrubbing in my immediate future, either way.
The snow continues to melt, but Wednesday's 9" has set us back a week or two in the process. My parents will be flying in from southwest Missouri on the 29th, and I believe there will still be snowdrifts (or at least the remains of drifts) when they arrive.
Beyond that, who knows? The morning is young ... and I still need to decide what I want for my upcoming birthday. That's important, you know!
