It started raining about an hour ago. It's 36 degrees. Now it's snowing.
Everything is melting when it hits the ground, but still ... oh, well. It's April in Alaska; this is not uncommon.
Sigh...
UPDATE: the temp has dropped to 32, and the snow is now sticking to non-paved surfaces, vehicles, etc.
The Nat'l. Weather Service issued a statement advising the local folk not to worry. It won't accumulate. They think. Maybe.
Or maybe not.

.. it's not that it gets *so* cold here, it's that it stays kinda cold so *long*

And last year spoiled us, when summer came a month early ... as I recall, that was right about this date. sigh, again
