Yuck: Updated

It started raining about an hour ago. It's 36 degrees. Now it's snowing.

Everything is melting when it hits the ground, but still ... oh, well. It's April in Alaska; this is not uncommon.

Sigh...

UPDATE:
the temp has dropped to 32, and the snow is now sticking to non-paved surfaces, vehicles, etc.

The Nat'l. Weather Service issued a statement advising the local
folk not to worry. It won't accumulate. They think. Maybe.

Or maybe not.
