These photos, plus the new header on this blog, were taken this afternoon. The black bears were hiding from the wind, apparently, in a log shelter & were hard to photograph in their shady retreat.

I know this is wrong, but all I can think about is that I have not bought any buffalo burger in a while.

Were these taken at the refuge just outside Anchorage?? T-riffic photos. Meant to tell you earlier that I really like the new masthead.
