Lisa herself told them yesterday not to count her out, you know, despite her concession speech after the election, because she's in it to win it. In spite of having lost. Because she receives lots of cards and letters urging her not to give up, she said. Did I mention she lost the election?
So it seems she's been talking to the Libertarian candidate for the Senate seat, who - in a fit of self-interest - refuses to step down in her favor. Never mind that she's a "pro-choice moderate" who just failed to win reelection. It's for the peeeee-pul, don'tcha know.
The Libertarian Party committee recently voted 5-0 against considering her as a candidate on their ticket. It's a lead-pipe cinch that she's not libertarian in her views, and yesterday she said she won't modify her opinions at all. So the progressive RINO who lost the election can't run as a small-government, lower-taxes candidate.
Welcome to 21st century politics, where no election is over until all the lawsuits are settled.

Whine & roses. Good one Rev.!! Patrick is in school right now and I'm lolling around at the hotel outside of Boston. He picked me up for lunch and haven't had such delish seafood since I was in Anchorage! Slept in and had the first full nights sleep in,like, 3 years! (The dogs are boarding.:0)
Man, some folks just can't take "NO" for an answer.
I'm sure a call or email to her office, telling her exactly how much we appreciate her continued sacrifice on behalf of the citizenry, as well as her dedication to preserving the integrity of the electoral process, would be most appreciated.
