Tony Hopfinger, an irrational, out-of-control Left-Wing blogger-activist, was detained by security detail at a Joe Miller town hall meeting. Tony admits he started a shoving match with Miller security.
Left-wingers are clearly jubilant at the opportunity to ignore most of the facts and to pretend to be shocked...

Honestly?
PR Fail all around I think. I have to admit being pretty much disgusted all the way around.
The AD might be a totally partisan organization with a grudge against Miller - that I buy - but it ain't one guy's blog. That's either a PR fail at damage control on Miller's side, or an attempt to just rub salt in the wound of pride. Either way not impressed.
On the other hand - the AD guy pretty obviously went to stir up crap and make himself into news. Even less impressed.
*sigh*
All this dread of winter coming on, and here I am actually be looking forward to the end of November.
My favorite scene in the first Die Hard movie is where the wife decks the newsman after he sticks a microphone in his face. Should happen much more frequently.
Jenny, winter doesn't bother me; I'm dreading the results of the election. After that, winter is easy. And agreed that AD "editor" (hey! bloggers are 'editors' now, the ADN says so) is desperately seeking significance.
Joated, also agreed. If private citizens randomly decked reporters who act stupidly, there would be a) fewer acts of stupidity, and b) fewer reporters. It's a win-win proposition!
