happens without planning.
I had forgotten that the girls were taking me to see the Green Lantern movie this afternoon. It wasn't bad, although a bit uneven. Most of the CGI effects were decent, but again had uneven levels of believability. Overall, not a bad flick for killing an afternoon ... perhaps a 7.5 out of 10.
The weather has been delightful, as well. The sun came out on Thursday evening and had been shining continuously until late this afternoon. Clouds have moved in, and AccuHunch guesses we'll have clouds and a chance of showers for the next several days. Phooey. The sunshine is most welcome, after so many months of winter, and we crave the light. But it's a high thin overcast for now, and that's better than dark & gloomy.
We'd prefer the sun, though.

Sounds like the perfect day.
I saw it in 3D on Friday, I felt the same about the story line although it was true to the comic. The added demision of
the 3D effect seemed to add a bit of pollish to the CGI.
I hope you stayed for the entire credit run at the end or you missed something important.
Well, maybe you weren't planing it, but those wiley girls figured by treating you to a movie they get to go, too. So I'm pretty sure they had it all mapped out.
