After 12 consecutive days of rainy weather, the sun finally made an appearance yesterday. Unfortunately (or not, depending on one's point of view) that exposed all the fresh snow on the mountains.
This morning it's clear and 38 degrees here at Casa del Pablo, but AccuHunch is optimistically calling for a high in the upper 60s. If the sun indeed stays out all day, that's doable.

A couple of glacier-related events made the news yesterday. The Daily News reported that a Super Cub was smashed by the wave from a glacier calving, and there's video of a glacier-viewing cruise boat that was threatened by a similar wave from another such event in southeast Alaska. In that case, a woman fell & broke her leg when the skipper opened the throttle wide to move out of its path.

There are details from a recent collision between two small planes, which resulted in which a family of four was killed when one of the planes crashed and burned.

Have a great day, folks. Thanks for stopping by.
