I recently wrote of introducing my youngest, Samantha, to the joys of shooting. I also mentioned that my oldest, Melanie, recently purchased her first pistol.
While we're on vacation, Mel will be attending an Appleseed shoot with shooting buddy (and now writing buddy) Jenny, and a rifle borrowed from new friend Tom.
Meanwhile, Sam keeps reminding me that I've promised to purchase a .22 rifle (I know, I know, but I never replaced the one we had back in the Midwest) when we return. She wants to go to the range again.
Try keeping me away from that. (grins)
