This Alaskan's Take on Sarah Palin's Decision

I think she made exactly the right decision.

It's pretty simple: the media hasn't stopped savaging the woman, her politics, and her family since the day following the Republic National Convention in 2008. Whether you agree with her or not, she has suffered a great deal of damage to her reputation.

She has proven that she is an inspirational speaker, and has been working to support conservative candidates.

She's sticking with what is currently working for her, and I support her decision to remain a private citizen.

Cannot blame her for that decision at all. Although, I believe she would make an awesome president and America would benefit from her leadership.

Just got an email from her PAC.
I didn't think she'd run considering what the liberal lamestream media has done to her, and I respect her decision.

Agree 100%. They've assassinated her character just like they did Dan Quayle and Judge Bork. She'll never get a fair shot no matter what she does, so why play their game?

It's not going to stop, at least as long as she stays in the public's eye. They'll just bait her with cries of Chicken coward bawk bawk bawk! and accuse her of being a quitter. They won't leave her alone until she leaves the public stage entirely and is no longer a threat. She needs to learn her place, the arrogant bitch! That's what the message will be.

Besides, by not running she may put a dent in Tina Fey's repertoire. Double plus, as far as I'm concerned.

Personally I think she is smarter than the current abortion we have in the white house......yes I said smarter. BO is a puppet for somebody.

Right decision for her family. Palin Derangement Syndrome has infuriated me because it is so ragingly hypocritical and unjust. She's off the plantation, and that makes Massa angry, so he sends the patter rollers after her.

Agree, good for her.

Sarah's national career reminds me of those dogs they used to run out in front to clear mine fields. Utterly devastating to her and her family - but sure exposed who the partisan hackwriters in the MSM were.

My sense is that when the history writers are looking back at the death of the MSM as a cultural unifier in the US... it's 2008 they'll call the watershed.

That's not such a bad legacy.
