Cyber Monday

is a wash, for most folks I know. If they're going to order on-line, they'll do it when it's convenient, and not because a group of retailers says "Okay, today's the day." Stupid, really ... the whole point of on-line shopping is do it whenever you want.

We're bracing for what the forecasters are calling a major storm, with the possibility of really heavy snow and high winds. Well, what the heck; we haven't had a blizzard yet, this winter. What we have is about three feet of snowfall since Oct. 30, which is 60 percent of our average annual amount, with another five months of snowy weather ahead of us.

You need to ask Dr Inconvenient Truth to come up and give a lecture on Global Warming.

Q - I don't think we could handle the extra snow if Algore came anywhere near us.

You already have 3 ft of snow? Alaska may be a fine place to visit but I'd have to be confined and/or heavily medicated already if I lived there.
