A Frosty Start

to this Sunday morning, with a temp of -2 and a fog/snow mist/haze thing going on.

We tried to visit the Sports Dome, but it was closed (their website says it's supposed to be open today). Still, it got us up, dressed (in workout clothes), out & about, and more-or-less invigorated. Scraping frost at these temps is best done quickly.

We had been visiting the Dome (track & weight machines) faithfully, three times a week, since the beginning of the year ... until October when we vacationed in Hawaii. Since returning, we've been only once. Life just keeps getting in the way, but we are determined to get back into the routine again.

We're headed back to AIH to look at more things I found in their catalog last night. As Wing & a Whim noted in comments yesterday, it's a wonderful place where you can find practically anything. And as Wing noted, if they don't have it, they know who does.

It reminds me just a bit of shopping at Western Auto when I was in grade school (way back in the '60s, remember?) - a little bit of everything, from bicycle handlebars to car tires to rifles. AIH doesn't have firearms, but they have nearly everything else. This isn't a paid endorsement, but rather telling how much I enjoy adult shopping.

It's good stuff.
