It's -3 right now, but the temp should go rocketing (rocketing, I say) up to the mid-20s this afternoon, with snow showers allegedly moving in later.
Whatever.
There should be a winner in the 2012 Iditarod sometime tonight. I'm still pulling for Aliz Zirkle, but I haven't checked the standings this morning.

The 20s...a heat wave. So glad to read your coverage of the race. Before the Internet I had to hope the local paper would maybe print one or two short stories on the race.

PH - near 70 sounds good, but it would dang near kill us right now. We're acclimated to the "zero-to-20" range. The open windows bit sounds good, though; I am getting tired of the place being all closed up.
