The big day for daughter Sam's graduation has come and gone, as all days do.

Her classes have been concluded for several months, although there were assessments to complete, and presentations to make. Today she's no longer in school, and I don't think it's really set in yet. Her mother & I also begin a new phase: it's the first time since 1995 that we won't have to look at anyone's homework, after working all day.
I'm not sure which has me more excited. :)

On Sunday,
one of Alaska's last surviving roadhouses burned down. The Copper Center Lodge apparently dated back to the late 1890s.
