It's the lack of Sunlight causing the wave of crime and pathological behavior I am sure.

Heh

Sure, Preppy - that's gotta be it. And in the summer, it's the lack of darkness, right?

Rev. Paul,

Besides the lack of light, I also think Alaska has a problem with unemployment, drugs and alcohol. Please correct me if I'm wrong?

Alaska is a beautiful country, I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I would love to live there.

Sandy, don't believe the news reports: our unemployment numbers are lower than the national rate. Drugs & alcohol are about the same as anywhere else, except among the Natives - whose weakness for abuse is like that of other Native Americans.

We moved here from Missouri 10 years ago, and it wasn't as expensive as we'd expected. Lodging is higher, but so are the wages.
