Unalaska Police Blotter: "How to Fix Parking Problems"
Traffic Crime – Officer observed two vehicles racing on
Henry Swanson Drive with one of the vehicles almost colliding head on
with the officer. When contacted the individuals stated that they wanted
to give their toddler son the sense of racing in the wind. Subject was
summonsed for multiple charges.
That might fall under the heading of "stupid human tricks".
Criminal Mischief –
Caller reported four to five children playing inside of a parked
vehicle. Officer responded and contacted the children who said they were
using the vehicle as a prop for their Parkour video. Officer advised
the children not to use other people’s property as a prop for their
video. The children apologized and vacated the area.
I thought Parkour was done outside.
Suspicious Person/Activity – Officers
responded to faint cries for help at the CEM dock. Upon arrival, officers
observed an individual in the water, under the dock, sitting on a
float. Officers were able to extricate the subject who was later
determined to be inebriated. The subject said he wanted to go for a
swim, jumped in off the dock and somehow ended up under the dock.
Ambulance responded and subject signed a refusal form.
Suspicious Person/Activity – An apartment manager,
clearly frustrated by the number of non-tenants who park in his parking
lot, used a front-end loader to remove an illegally parked vehicle and
then block it in another space. The vehicle owner chose not to pursue
charges in spite of the damage that was done to her vehicle.
I'd probably avoid ticking off someone with a front-end loader at hand, too.
Traffic Crime – Caller
requested assistance with a commercial truck that had run over his
luggage. Officer responded to the location and was notified that both
parties had come to a civil agreement to pay for damages incurred.
Domestic
Disturbance – Caller reported loud noises and a verbal dispute
emanating from a neighboring residence. Officer responded and contacted
one occupant at the residence and the other at work. Both denied any
arguments and insisted that the vacuum and loud music may have been the
source of the complaint.
Drunk Disturbance – Caller
reported a patron who was asked to leave the restaurant was acting
suspicious, taking off his shirt and pacing in the restaurant. Officers
responded and contacted the subject. The subject was provided courtesy
transport to his place of employment.

Gotta love em... :-)
They do display an amazing amount of ingenuity, don't they?
Parkour IS done outside, generally.
But, this is ALASKA!
:-P
gfa
Then the kids must be tiny ... I'm just trying to figure how they could get up any momentum inside the car. Oh, never mind.
Always a good laugh!
I'm glad, WSF; that's why I do it. :)
