It's Been a Quiet Week in Dutch Harbor

Or so it seems:

Assault - Caller reported an assault had occurred at the bar and all subjects were still on scene being detained by security personnel. Officers responded conducted an investigation and were advised that none of the parties involved wanted to pursue charges. Two subjects involved in the altercation were trespassed from all property for a period of 72 hours.

Suspicious Person/Activity- Caller reported several unidentified individuals camping and drinking outside of a housing complex. Officer responded and determined the individuals to be foreign nationals who had been provided a landing permit and were sightseeing.

Suicide - Caller reported receiving a text from an individual stating that he did not want to live anymore. Officers conducted an investigation which was determined through that the subject in question had not made any such statements or displayed any unusual behavior.

Hmm. No drunks up against a fence while screaming about being "caged", or anything? I'm guessing the summer commercial fishing season has drawn to a close, and the numerous imported crews have gone back to wherever they normally drink live.

What, did they run low on booze, or drunks?

Rev. Paul,
Nothing like changing the crime stats. Maybe alcohol needs to be banned at this location?

Sandy, I understand why you'd say that. But if Prohibition taught us nothing else, it's that you can't legislate morality.
