No Surprise There

I recently wrote about nine railroad cars in Fairbanks which rolled into a couple of delivery trucks and a building.

Seems it was "operator error" which caused the "malfunction."

Gee, who could have imagined that?

Been a while since I had any RR contacts but back when my grandfather was working for one that kind of operator error was automatic unemployment line.

Bet it's not these days.

I'm not quite as sure about that as you seem to be, Preppy; the Alaska Railroad is privately-owned, and has been laying off a lot of people over the last 2 or 3 years. They might just let the culprit go.
