Gird Your Loins, Alaskans

Tourist season is almost upon us.

Tundra Comics can be found here.

It's that "back-of-the-RV view" that Alaskans know so well...

Are you saying I can get the Alaska driving experience without leaving Colorado? Do you have a mile of Motorcycles going ten under the speed limit?

Maybe if your roads weren't so frost heaved.... Just saying.

LOL, another reason I FLY in... :-)

As a matter of fact, WSF ... probably so.

joated, there's that. I marvel at how smooth the highways are, every time I visit the Lower 48.

NFO, you're a smart man.

Rev. Paul,

I can imagine they're plenty of RV's on the roads up there.

Sandy, it's not as bad now as it was a few years ago, before gas prices went so high. But they manage to block traffic quite nicely, just the same.

You have RV's - we have honey dippers!

Chickenmom, suddenly the RVs don't sound so bad ... :)

I'm with WSF, except I'd modify it to "a mile of motorcycles going 10 under the speed limit, until they reach a passing zone, then it's 20 above."

juvat, you must have driven US 50.

juvat & WSF, I was going to say "You must have been here." Apparently it's that way everywhere.

That's hilarious! I guess I'd love to be one of those irritating Rv'ers ;)

No, you really wouldn't. You'd want to be in front of them. :)
