Alaska's Northern Lights: in Ultra HD

Filmed in subzero temps outside of Fairbanks, this is spectacular!

I strongly recommend watching in full-screen mode, and then click on the little "settings" cog in the lower right-hand corner, and select any of the HD modes.

You're welcome, ma'am. And I got as big a kick out of watching the black lab scamper around in the snow ...

Green is all I've ever seen, and the pup was having fun!

Purty.
Saw them here in Michigan 40 yrs ago.
Amazing.
But they were in black and white back then.

Preppy - they do come in red, yellow and orange sometimes. Green is the most common, though.

NFO, he seemed to be enjoying himself immensely. :)

Ed, LOL! That made me laugh out loud, for real.

Green is caused by interaction with oxygen, I learned that watching them in October before we came back to the desert. Thank you...

Truly magic. Can't imagine experiencing that first-hand. Wow. And a pup, too! Doesn't get much better than that :) Thank you.
