I do, too, Ed. Like all men, he had his shortcomings - but he was a good President and a true patriot.
He did his best, FOR THE COUNTRY, not for himself...
His warning in his farewell speech about the military industrial complex was more than hyperbole.

Guffaw, he saw what was taking place, and warned us to be wary of it. Then his successor promptly embroiled us in another war, and his successor used an imaginary incident to ramp up the military involvement/spending. As always, follow the money and ask, "Who benefits?"
