So you know where I'm going with this: there's a chance of snow in the mountains tonight "or certainly by the middle of next week", according to the talking head on the TV weatherguess.
So as the company commander once told us in boot camp, many moons ago: "Gentlemen: if it's inevitable, you might as well relax and enjoy it."

And no, it's not a dry heat!
We're getting a lot of monsoonal moisture this summer....
I may no longer be there, but instinct forces me to automatically let out the heartrending cry at the sight.

Jim, I can only say I'm sorry. That's just too darned hot.
Wing, we had so little snow last winter (only 25") that it's actually welcome.
