We only got three of the new spark plugs installed yesterday, after doing everything else.
Seems I'd forgotten how early it gets dark, here, and we had to stop at 3 pm because it was getting too dark. With the heavy overcast and sunset at 3:55, we were using entirely too many flashlights and trouble lamps to make crawling under the truck worthwhile.
So, come mid-day when my helper, i.e., Older Daughter, is available, we'll get those last three plugs, and then I'm good for another hundred thousand miles. :)
Y'all have a great day out there, and thanks for stopping by.

Rev. Paul,
Routine vehicle maintenance needs to be done to keep our vehicles running. It's good to have a helper :-)
Agreed, Sandy - thanks!
Circa 1950's we had a neighbor who, although blind, had a firm grasp of things mechanical. He asked my father to help with a tune up. They went into the garage where he opened the hood and started explaining hat he wanted to do. The conversation went something like this.
"Virgil, I need some light before I can work".
"Well alright Bob, if you insist".
It seems Virgil had a built-in advantage. Thanks for the smile, sir.
