Relief

This week has been crazy, and crazy busy. Today will be likewise, if my calendar is any indication.

But that's neither here nor there, as there's a bigger game afoot.

We've decided to take the plunge, and submitted inquiries on some homes for rent or sale in a suburb north of here. We've lived in Anchorage for more than 12 years, but hail originally from small towns in the Midwest. Big city life has been fun for awhile, but it's finally gotten to us.

In other words, it's time to saddle up and get the heck outta Dodge. We hope to see some places tomorrow.

It's time.

Rev. Paul,

How awesome is that?? You and your sweet wife will love living further away from the big town/city. Will you have a long distance to commute to work?

Rev. Paul said...

Sandy, we commuted 25 and 35 miles, respectively, when we were in the St. Louis area. It wasn't uncommon to for me to get to work in 25 minutes, and take 3 hours to get home.

This will add fewer than a dozen miles to the longest commute, here. No big deal.

Happy House Hunting! Hopefully - you'll be able to see the color of the outside walls before you take occupancy :)

Thanks, Cathy. We've seen them all today, while it's light. :)
