We get quite a kick out of Mr. Carpenter - he's a very observant man. :)
Real estate taxes! Grrrr. Since we moved up here, taxes on our old house have gone up almost four thousand dollars for a total of close to $11,000. We could never have stayed there.
Understood, Chickenmom. Our new house payments (mortgage, insurance, & taxes) are considerably less than we were paying in rent, so we're not complaining.
