Word for the Day

God’s Word warns us of danger and directs us to hidden treasure. Otherwise how will we find our way? Or know when we play the fool? Clean the slate, God, so we can start the day fresh! Keep me from stupid sins, from thinking I can take over your work; Then I can start this day sun-washed, scrubbed clean of the grime of sin. These are the words in my mouth; these are what I chew on and pray. Accept them when I place them on the morning altar, O God, my Altar-Rock, God, Priest-of-My-Altar.

~ Psalm 19:14 MSG

Amen. And a good way to start every day, I might add.

hobo - and to that, I'll add an "amen!" of my own.

Thank you. We need to listen much closer now we are in the mess we are in. I always feel its so sad that we have the most incredible book in the Bible to give us the laws we need to live properly and fewer and fewer people really listen, including so called Christians.

That's so true, Fiona. His Word is everything we need to know to get through this life victoriously, and so few people pay attention. But it's what He said would happen, as the love of many turns cold, and there's a great falling away. All going according to The Book.
