Gee Thanks, Kiddo

So my guitar buddy Andy  and I get together to play tunes, both old and new. I'm of the 50s & 60s generation, he's about 10 years younger. I tend to play old favorites, or newly-learned lead parts, and he introduces me to contemporary blues.
My Younger Daughter decided we should look for some gigs and perform. What to call ourselves? She suggested, "The Wheezing Geezers!"

Okay, stop laughing.

Still, it could be worse. My cousin Ed R., in Kansas City, plays bass with a popular local group. They play lesser-known classic rock. You know, the Side B of hit singles.

They're The Kaopectones.

Padre, an fyi, the Beach Boys have a new album out June 8th. They used original soundtracks, and recorded them with the Royal Phil Orchestra. I have hear to songs so far. FUN,FUN, and GOOD VIBRATIONS. Sounds outstanding

My sons in their teens had a band. Called themselves, "The Lucky Sperm".

I was so happy when they moved on to other interests.

It was a polite suggestion at least. :)

True enough, Linda. It could have been worse. :)
