Jay, it's The Message Bible, which I like a lot; have been using it here for some time.
The flowers and trees, yes. The crabgrass and thorny things, I am not so sure...
TB, I'm with you. Biologists assure us those things have their purpose, but I remain a skeptic. :)
I always look at the other translations of these too. I see why I was confused. I looked at just 46:10 and this is really 46:8 thru 10.
I find the differences very interesting.
I have noticed that The Message tends to lump some verses together, but I really like its take on familiar passages. :)
