God's Word for Thursday, 9/26/18

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:30-33 KJV

If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met."
Matthew 6:30-33 MSG

pastor paul,
i cannot do the microsoft email so erase this if you wish.
husband died suddenly on 9-11-18 we are to be out of here in about 50 days.
we have very little income. we have debt, and a finance officer will call me today. house was part of husband's salary, and now both are gone.
i will get his soc sec and we have daughter who has chronic lyme disease. she has medicaid--thanks to God!- and some food stamps.
don't know how we will pay for a house. it is cheaper to make house payment than pay rent.
please pray for us. God is helping and we have to have a very cheap house. pray for a dry basement and a good roof.
youngstown has crime. we need to be safe, two women alone.
also pray for me a job. few and far between here. my office work was done in the day of paper and filing cabinets, and post office mail. everything is different now.
you never think the world would change so much in 50 years, and not necessarily for the better.

many thank for prayers.
