Not only are these statements ringing true, they are ringing true today, even though they were stated decades (!!) ago.
Not sure if that makes me glad that people really don't change much over time, or if that fact scares the everlovin' crap outta me...
Guess the best answer is to keep praying for the Almighty to help and guide our leaders as well as "we the people".
