Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

remember to pray fro strength endurance and determination for me and my daughter, irena. we have to move because of my husband's sudden death.
have just enough for a house--praise God!
this house was attached to john's job and we have to pack and leave hurriedly.
a herculean task.
please pray earnestly for us. got to pack 44 years of marriage in a month.
hoping for an extension but may not be possible.
have no family anywhere near and very few friends, none of whom are necessarily young and fit.
have offers of two with pickup trucks but the actual sorting and packing is up to us. gargantuan task.

Lord, please send deborah & irena the help they need to get everything packed and moved in time. You provided a house, so we believe you can provide reliable workers. We ask You for this - and for fellow believers who will stand with us in prayer - in Jesus' mighty name. Amen!
