From the Mil e-Mail Files

Sailors on surface warships and submariners, skulking about down below, have a long-standing rivalry. It's usually good-natured. We make fun of them, they make fun of us.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Then there's this, from a shipmate who served first on my destroyer, and then departed for submarines.



Heh.

Not sure I get it, but overall it does seem to be a funny situation. :)

Linda, here's a hint: submarines don't normally surface in subdivisions. :^)
