According to the Iditarod standings, Leifseth Ulsom checked in at just after midnight at 12:14 a.m. Behind him was Jessie Royer, Pete Kaiser, Mitch Seavey, and Richie Diehl, who all checked in after 4 a.m. Friday.
Those five are the only racers in Shageluk, but multiple racers are en route, having left the previous checkpoint of Iditarod yesterday.
