Rare Weather Event

This won't be surprising to anyone except fellow Alaskans, but we had extremely rare weather last night:

We can count the number of times we've seen lightning, heard thunder in Alaska and have some fingers left over. Hail is also rare.

Either Thor is angry, or Algore's in town.

When I read the title I thought you were going to say Alaska decided to skip summer this year! :-)

Our Spring Season of Rain has started here.

Thunder, lightning, and rain from sprinkles to cloudbursts, are part of the daily routine from now until October.

But it sure makes the plants pop out!

Wow. Glad the hail wasn't any bigger than that!
Hope you all have a blessed weekend!
