So we just had an early season winter storm here in the northeast. Apparently, in the 8 or 9 months since winter weather ended for last season, many people have completely forgotten how to drive in it. They would all win the Darwin Award living in Alaska.
Welcome, sir. Our summer is only four months long, and still even long-time Alaskans forget how to drive on white roads. Here, Darwin votes via the upside down vehicles which litter the roadways.
I understand very well. On Adak (lo, these many moons ago), we'd go out on the first day of winter with our 4x4s and pull all the California drivers out of ditches & drifts. Used to make a pretty penny doing that.

I truly live in the land of idiots.

Every years the Californication of Colorado is on display with the winter storms.
