Do these actually mean the same thing?
I would have thought numbering our days was something we should not do as we have no idea how many we have?
In this case, Linda, it’s a colloquialism meaning to use the days wisely, not wasting any time. We mustn’t take our time on Earth for granted, but to remember that our time is limited.
