Psalm 22:27-28: “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord's, and he ruleth among the nations.”
...I note with some amusement that after...decades...of enduring mall-ninjas frothing on and on about what one "has" to have, in both weapons and training, we see what was sufficient to hold off rioters who were still in the working themselves up to riot stage.
It's not foolproof, no, but it's a darned good reminder that you don't have to be perfect. You don't even have to be good. You just have to gird up your loins and stand up for yourself... and sometimes that's enough.
It is more than amusing to me to see how these events continue to drive people wanting to procure weapons and protect themselves, instead of the opposite. The enemy of my enemy is, indeed, my friend.
