Psalm 22:27-28: “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord's, and he ruleth among the nations.”
It is perhaps unfair to judge a person by their response to a device never seen before. A modern driver would likely be confused by the controls on a 1918 Pierce Arrow. But still ...
Years ago, I needed to make a call from Grandma's house. By then I'd been using push button phones for years. I picked up the hand set, then found myself staring blankly at the dial, unable to remember what I was supposed to do.
Wow! That..I..she..(sigh)...wow! I mean, really, you’d think she’d at least try to move the parts more! There’s a circle thingy, at the end of which is a stop..hmm... Please, Lord God, give us mercy!
It was! It's like throwing a bad book across the room, hurling it away from you in sheer rejection of the stupidity - now I have to go make sure the otterbox protected the phone.
Smart phones have given us many opportunities, but they also denied us some of life's best expressions of disgust!
Clearly, the kid needs to watch more old movies, eh?

squeeky's mom, there's that. :)
JLM, I thought ... just for a moment ... that it was staged. But she's either a very, very good actress, or she's genuinely puzzled.
ROTFLMAO!
I'll never forget the sound they made when you dialed them.
Give her a little while to unlearn what she "knows", and watch her figure out how satisfying it is to "hang up the phone" and "slam the phone down"...
😊
There was something satisfying about the sound, wasn’t there?
Hanging up forcefully WAS fulfilling, no? 😏
