He That Sitteth in the Heavens

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Why the big noise, nations? Why the mean plots, peoples? Earth-leaders push for position,
Demagogues and delegates meet for summit talks, the God-deniers, the Messiah-defiers: “Let’s get
free of God! Cast loose from Messiah!”
Heaven-throned God breaks out laughing. At first he’s amused at their presumption; then he gets good and angry. Furiously, he shuts them up.
Psalm 2:1-4 MSG

Ever the cynic, I suspect most leaders - and most churches - completely miss the point of this.

TB, I suspect they're about to receive a VERY big reminder.
