March Lives Down to its Reputation

We received 16" of snow yesterday. This morning's activity will be limited to clearing our 270' driveway. For those keeping track, that puts us at some 137" of snow for the winter.

The tall stack o' snow on the handrails begins to lean over. Then it folds itself in two,
and the top slides down alongside the bottom. Kinda like a Slinky going down the stairs in very slow motion.

Also: this year's Iditarod kicked off its ceremonial start yesterday. Doggies and fans alike were happy with the falling snow. The official restart at Willow, Alaska is in an hour or so. Should be a good race.

Reverend, I always look forward to your weather updates. So different from any of my experiences.

March came in like a lamb here. Praying it stays that way.
God bless and watch over all the mushers.

TB, I understand. It's a different place, on a different part of the planet. We have oceans on three sides, and aren't that far from the arctic ice cap. The weather can be ... interesting.

Linda, thank you.
