This past Friday, I underwent a four-hour angioplasty and had four stents inserted into blocked coronary arteries.
Afterward, it was wonderful to watch all the near-empty arteries quickly refill with blood. I can't adequately describe how fullfilling that was. (smile)
Normal heart function has been restored. In another couple of days, I will begin hitting the treadmill to work on regaining the strength and stamina I've lost over the last couple of years.
Thank you so much for your prayers. Be assured they worked!

Praise The Lord! I missed your previous post about having a heart attack. I had one on Mother's Day in 2012, and had three stents emplaced. Since then I've lost around 60 pounds, my Type II Diabetes has improved, and my blood chemistry is excellent compared to before.
Prayers for your continued recovery!
Tank you, drjim. I'm glad you survived, too. Mine was March 29, and I've lost 48 pounds so far. The threat of a possible second MI is a powerful motivator. :)
I am so glad to read this. Will continue prayers for a complete recovery.
Thank you, Marianne. It's the first time in 18 months that I've felt good.
God is good. Amen.
Yes, He is. All the time!
Wonderful Reverend Paul. Thank you for letting us know!
I'm just glad all y'all are still out there, my friend. :)
Great to hear!
Thanks, PH!
So happy to hear the good news.
Thank you, sir.
Sorry to hear about your heart. One thing my family stays after me about. Both my Grand father, and Mother passed at age 60 due to heart trouble. Lost a brother in law two weeks ago to same issue. I will keep you in my prayers....Stop by my new blog...navatgator2023 at blog.spot
Sorry to hear about your bro-in-law, Rob. Thank you for the prayers, my friend; I'll check out the new blog.
So glad to hear this! I didn't know either!
No worries, my friend. You've had your hands & schedule full with Chattanooga. :)
