Dallas Seavey won the race at 5:16 pm, Alaska time. He finished in nine days, two hours, and 16 minutes.

Iditarod Update: March 15 - We Have a Winner!
About one-half hour ago, we watched Dallas Seavey become only the second musher in Iditarod history to win a fifth race. Rick Swenson, for 30 years the only five-time winner, was at the finish line to welcome a new member to that very exclusive club.

Mitch Seavey is 77-miles away from a third Iditarod victory, and posting a new record as the oldest race winner at age 57.
