We desperately need men and women with hearts strong enough to face whatever firepower satan and his allies can throw at them and, in spite of it all, turn this nation back to Christ."

The Demonic Long-Game to Take Down America

Former member of the Idaho House of Representatives and movie producer Curtis Bowers was interviewed by Jim Garlow Sunday night on the World Prayer Network. Curtis was sharing on the subject of the seemingly rapid Marxist takeover of America. He let the listeners know this is not a recent plan. We are living through the next step, and a significant one, of a plan in the works for 90 years.

“The challenge for those desiring to shift America to a socialist nation,” he said, “has been its Christian roots. America’s moral structure as a result of its Judeo-Christian foundation has made it very challenging to shift. Lovers of God know we have freedom in Christ as we live to please Him. Living morally for Him has led to a very blessed nation—and the whole world has known it.”

He explained the patient strategy of Marxism as being a gradual takeover of various systems of society, such as education and media. The end-game is to use those systems to change America from within by shifting its morality from God-centered to man-centered. Then, it becomes easy for the government to give people what they want. Larry Tomczak is a board member for Intercessors for America, a best-selling author, and a public policy advisor with Liberty Counsel. He wrote an excellent article on this subject for IFAPray.org recently, expounding on this topic. His warning for America is chilling. He writes:

“Do You Know You’re Being Set Up

“When Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness he tried to seduce Him with tantalizing bait. He showed Him all the kingdoms of the world offering, I will give you all this…if You… (Luke 4:5-7). Satan was trying to set Him up.

“Have you ever seen one of those late night commercials on TV with the grainy footage and well preserved singers of yesteryear hawking the classic hits of the past? Aligning with the voiceover announcer they nostalgically reference the era and reminisce to set you up for the sale.

“‘These are all the original hits not available in stores, all digitally remastered…what a time of peaceful vibes and love. You’ll relive what was such a wonderful time of carefree living and peace. Let all the memories from those years of love and peace be experienced again as you’re ‘“'going to San Francisco with flowers in your hair.’”’

“For those of us who lived through those tumultuous times, some of us find ourselves talking to the TV set and wanting to smack them upside the head. ‘Hey buddy, that time was not all groovy, lovey, peaceful, flowing-haired girls in granny dresses twirling in the park amidst syrupy-faced guys with tambourines and flutes!’

“Using street smarts, we know they’re trying to set us up. It’s what Obama did when telling us, ‘If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor,’ setting us up for Obamacare socialized medicine. PolitiFact gave him the ‘Lie of the Year’ award!

“Are we using the same discernment facing the power of the Progressives using sleight of hand to sell us a socialist bill of goods that will destroy our families and future in America? The bottom line with their nonstop ‘goody bags’ is they are trying to buy us off with our own hard-earned tax dollars.

“‘It’ll Cost You Nothing!’

“The radicalized, leftist Democratic party is making offers (like the above quote from [Obama]) to hold us hostage to their socialist agenda. Exploiting Covid and climate fears to manipulate the masses, they’re trying to ‘get while the gettin’s good’ with a befuddled president and bowed down media. They know the clock is ticking and will soon run out as people are wising up for next year’s midterms to throw them out.

“Like sideshow barkers, they’re pushing a wealth redistribution agenda through their misleading 2200 page $3.5 million ‘Infrastructure’ bill of giveaways that they say will be paid for by those ‘evil corporations and billionaires.’ This impacts your livelihood and your children whose future is being sacrificed for political expediency.

“Here’s their agenda:

• Forgiveness of college debts.
• ‘Free’ money ($25,000) for all lower-income, first-time home buyers (they never have to pay it back even though you may have saved a decade for such a purchase).
• ‘Free’ government checks, child subsidies, universal childcare, pre-K coverage, college tuition, complete medical care, rent subsidies, basic guaranteed income, expanded Medicare (dental, vision and hearing), taxpayer funded abortions, increased food stamp provisions, amnesty for 12-15 million illegal immigrants with full entitlements and open borders for asylum-seekers (2-3 million this year alone) with full medical care.

“Our Biblically Based Heritage

“Our Founding Fathers and patriotic Americans throughout our history have demonstrated compassionate care for deserving needy individuals as a temporary ‘hand up,’ not a permanent ‘hand out’. We’ve traditionally honored the biblical directive: We command you that if any will not work, neither shall he eat. (1 Thessalonians 3:10)

“Big government has no right to take our money and savings earned over a lifetime and give it away for the sake of what they label ‘equity’ and ‘reparations.’ We must stand up to this attempted communist-style thievery and transfer of wealth establishing a culture of dependency in America. The Bible teaches that we have a responsibility to work, plan, and care for ourselves, our spouse, and children (1 Timothy 5:8; James 1:27; 2 Corinthians 12:14); and we will one day give an account before God for this stewardship.

“Ben Franklin stated, ‘I am for doing good to the poor but I think the best way to do good to the poor is not making them easy in poverty, but leading them or driving them out of it. I observed the more public provisions were made for the poor the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less that was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer!’

“We must be informed regarding this deceptive Democrat set up. The radical progressives have schemes up their sleeves!

“How Do You Kill 11 Million People?

“New York Times best-selling author Andy Andrews wrote a book with this title. The figure represents the actual number of people killed by Adolf Hitler, not including ordinary civilians and military war dead.

“In the book, he gave a simple answer to the inquiry: You lie to the people and set them up to be led like naive sheep to the slaughter. It’s happening today.

“When Hitler wrote ‘Mein Kampf’, he stated, ‘The great masses of the people will more easily fall victim to a big lie than a small one.’

“His henchman, Adolph Eichmann, revealed in sworn statements during the Nuremberg trials their deception with the Jewish people. Here’s how they set them up.

   “‘All Jews listen up! At last it can be reported to you that the Russians are advancing on our eastern front. I apologize for the hasty way we brought you into our protection. Unfortunately, there was little time to explain. You have nothing to worry about. We want only the best for you. You will leave here shortly and be sent to very fine places indeed. You will work there, your wives will stay at home, and your children will go to school. You will have wonderful lives. We will all be terribly crowded on the trains, but the journey is short. Men, please keep families together and board the rail cars in an orderly manner. Quickly now, my friends, we must hurry!’

“Sound familiar? They were set up by the Democratic Socialist regime. We must speak up before it’s too late.

“Here’s the deal: ‘Live not by lies’ was the warning given us by Russian defector Alexander Solzhenitsyn concerning the dawning post-Christian, pre-totalitarian society he saw emerging in America. Jesus told us to watch (stay alert) and pray (Luke 21:36). Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. (Ephesians 5:11 NIV)

“To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Don’t take the bait when they make you an offer they think you can’t refuse.”

Remember, the Bible tells us, “My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19; NASB) Trust in Him and don’t take the bait leading to the loss of our freedom and ultimately to the loss of our country.

Pray with me:

Father, we know that the enemy is sly, thinking he has set the perfect trap for America. He and his earthly puppets have been working for decades to undermine the foundations You set for our nation. But he has been found out and You are exposing his plan. Just as he has done time and again throughout the ages, he has overplayed his hand and the plan has become obvious.

America is a nation blessed by You. We don’t want a trap which will overwhelm us economically and force our dependence on the government. Keep us from fearing man and what can be done to us. Let us hope completely in You and continue to stand strong for righteousness, truth, biblical justice, and opportunity for all. Thank You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s decree:

We choose today to worship the Lord and look to Him alone as our Provider.

The Big Wave is Coming

Over the last three months, my friend, Clay Nash, has had two dreams about Father Nash, the great intercessor who worked with Charles Finney. Finney and Nash played two of the most prominent roles in the 2nd Great Awakening, a revival in the 1800s that preserved America. (By the way, Clay is not related to Father Nash.)

“At age 48, [Nash] decided to give himself totally to prayer for Finney's meetings. He would come quietly into towns three or four weeks in advance of a meeting, gather three or four other like-minded Christians with him, and in a rented room start praying and bringing heaven near. It is reported that in one town all he could find was a dank, dark cellar, but that place was soon illumined with holy light as he made it the place of intercession.” 1

“Finney operated on the basis of prayer being essential for the preparation of an area for evangelism. When God would direct where a meeting was to be held, Father Nash would slip quietly into town and seek to get two or three people to enter into a covenant of prayer with him. Sometimes he had with him a man of similar prayer ministry, Abel Clary. Together they would begin to pray fervently for God to move in the community. One record of such is told by Leonard Ravenhill:

  "I met an old lady who told me a story about Charles Finney that has challenged me over the years. Finney went to Bolton to minister, but before he began, two men knocked on the door of her humble cottage, wanting lodging. The poor woman looked amazed, for she had no extra accommodations. Finally, for about twenty-five cents a week, the two men, none other than Fathers Nash and Clary, rented a dark and damp cellar for the period of the Finney meetings (at least two weeks), and there in that self-chosen cell, those prayer partners battled the forces of darkness.” 2

In Clay’s first dream, I was on a surfboard focused and waiting on the right wave. Finney approached me and said, “Stay focused, the big wave is coming soon.” He pointed to a figure on the beach praying, telling me it was Father Nash. “He has been here praying for weeks,” he continued.

Finney then told me to keep watching Father Nash, he would alert me when “the big wave” was coming. 'Don’t look back to the wave that’s coming; look forward to where the wave will take you,” he continued.

This dream is obviously telling us that the big wave of revival we have been crying out for and expecting is coming soon. It also informed us that intercession will be the key to this, just as it was in Finney’s success. And finally, there is the strong admonition to stay focused.

Clay’s second dream occurred just a few days ago. Here is the entire dream:

“I dreamed the morning of August 3, 2021, that Father Nash, Finney’s intercessor, asked me to travel with him to see something. As we were caught away to the location all I could see were people praying and interceding. There must have been at least two hundred thousand people. Their intercession sounded like the water at Niagara Falls. It was penetrating, to say the least.

“All through this mass of people, there were people waving Appeal to Heaven flags. There were also American flags, beginning with the earliest one up to today’s. I asked Father Nash who these people were and his answer astounded me: ‘These are those who came through Ellis Island to establish their newfound liberty in Christ. They came for the freedom that established America and is Father God’s original intent. Their intercession is for God’s will to not be aborted and for the ekklesia, His war brigade, to battle as they never have before.’

“As he finished speaking, an American flag, large enough to cover all the mass of people, settled down upon them. The flag was soaked and dripping with fresh blood. I asked, ‘Is this blood that will be shed again upon our soil?’

“Nash answered and said, ‘No, my faithful friend, this is the blood sprinkled on the Mercy Seat. It never grows old.’ He then signaled and they all stopped praying. He instructed them to pray for Dutch, and for the war brigade to continue to be transformed into His special force needed in America.”

  End of Dream.

I must admit that I, too, was astounded at the revelation of who these people were. Holy Spirit is obviously saying several things to us through this dream. Once again, He points out that intercession will be the key to what is coming.

He then reminds us of God‘s original intent for America. It was to be a stronghold of freedom and liberty in Christ. One cannot help but recall the verse on the Liberty Bell, “Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof” (Leviticus 25:10). America was raised up to be an evangelist to the world.

Holy Spirit then tells us that these immigrants were praying intensely for the ekklesia, God’s “war brigade,” that we would “battle as we never have before.”

We were also reminded of the blood of Jesus, the blood sprinkled on the Mercy Seat, which was soaking the American flag. Surely this is telling us there is cleansing and mercy for America, and that God is not finished with her. Again, intercessors - represented by the immigrants and Father Nash - are the key to seeing this occur.

Finally, prayer is offered for the ekklesia’s continuing growth and transformation.

We must persevere, church. We must continue to offer up our petitions and decrees. We must mature in our understanding of what it means to be the Ekklesia, and function accordingly. And we must “stay focused, the big wave is coming soon.” I’ll leave you with one final quote regarding Father Nash:

“Though he prayed in private, yet he often prayed with such fervency that others became aware of his praying. This was not intended, but simply was the release of a deeply burdened soul. The lady at the boarding house became aware of his groans as he prayed. His enemies claimed, ‘that it was impossible for him to pray in secret since, whether he went into his closet or the woods, he prayed with such vehemence that he could be heard half a mile away.’ While this was likely an exaggeration of his normal practice, there is a record of a single occurrence of note:

In the revival at Gouverneur (in which the great majority of the inhabitants, Finney believed, were converted), Nash rose very early and went into a forest to pray. ‘It was one of those clear mornings,' said Finney, 'on which it is possible to hear sounds at a great distance.’ Nearly a mile away lived an unsaved man who suddenly heard Nash’s voice raised in prayer, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t shake the reality of his urgent need for a Savior. In fact, he experienced no relief until he found it in Christ." 3

Church, let’s birth this great awakening!!

Pray with me:

Father, as You move us on a path toward the coming worldwide great awakening, America’s Third Great Awakening, You reminded us of Finney and Nash, two of the key players in the last great revival. One of them preached, the other provided the power behind the scenes. Thank You for this wonderful reminder of what You are about to do and the incredible encouragement it brings.

Obviously, it is no coincidence that two key players from the previous great awakening were sent in a dream to remind us of what is next. They await with batons, ready to hand off to us the assignment of the next great revival. We pledge to run our leg of the race well. As we wait for this coming wave of revival, help us to stay very focused. Help us to keep our eyes on the goal, on where You are taking us, on the great harvest of souls and nations.

We pray for the intercessors, that they will remain strong and focused. We pray for the ekklesia, that she will continue to mature and become all You need her to be on the earth. May we be wise, bold, led by Your Spirit, and filled with faith. I ask You to increase the intensity of prayer around the world for this great revival. Keep us from being distracted and enable us to continue pressing toward the mark. We ask for this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Our decree: 

We decree that we will stay focused and will catch the big wave that is coming soon!

Townhall.com: Obama Has Enraged the "Citizen Class"

Fascinating piece by Austin Hill, over at Townhall.com. Excerpt:

The “citizen class” is horrified.

We’re speaking here of those Americans who, while they may disagree on a variety of social and public policy issues, nonetheless agree on a few, crucial matters.

Our nation is good, U.S. citizenship is distinct, and national sovereignty is non-negotiable. In a nutshell, this is the mindset, the worldview, of the citizen class. It has nothing to do with one’s ethnicity, or socioeconomic background, or sexual orientation, or gender. It has everything to do with one’s most deeply held beliefs.

Not every U.S. citizen possesses the “citizen class” view (clearly some Americans don’t understand the blessing of their status), yet a majority of us still do. And no matter how much we may disagree on other matters, those of us in the citizen class won’t budge on these three items.

And this why President Obama has enraged the citizen class. He has planted the seeds of doubt regarding our nation’s goodness, and has implied that U.S. citizenship, and national sovereignty, are irrelevant.

Read, as they say, the whole thing. I think he comes pretty close to "right on the money".

Righteous Anger

Okay, I've been asked why I seem angry recently, in the writing I've posted here. Am I angry? Yes. Is there a reason? Oh, yes.

I watch the wanton, deliberate dismantling of this nation and its traditions ... I'm aware of the dumbing down of our schools over the last hundred years ... I see the deliberate refusal to teach or even acknowledge the principles on which this greatest of all nations was conceived, and birthed in liberty.

I see the willful withholding of information about our Founders, and why they behaved as they did ... I see so-called "history" books which have 20+ pages about Sacajawea, and one short paragraph about George Washington ... I had to order three different history texts for my 14 yr old daughter, before finding one which tells the truth about our history.

Children are no longer educated about nor brought up to revere our Constitution. We teach them nothing of the equal justice through which the eyes of the Law should view us, then express surprise when they demonstrate their ignorance of it.

We have lost basic respect for the generations of valiant patriots, whose tears, sweat and blood have been expended to deliver this nation to us, today. We have allowed those whose plain aim is to destroy the United States, to work toward that very end. Being good traditional conservatives, we knew they were wrong ... but hoped it would all turn out okay.

Look where that has brought us.

Can you find any portion of the Constitution which authorizes the general government to purchase corporations, denying payment to the stockholders? Is there an article or section which says that the central authority can ignore the will of the people and just do as it pleases?

We are now told that this is a secular nation, or even a Muslim nation. This is a willful denial of the plain and obvious truth of History. Those now bitterly clinging to power would have us believe that there was no Mayflower Compact; that the unalienable rights granted "by our Creator" consist of those rights which the government so graciously bequeaths us.

The latest move to allow an unelected official, a political appointee, to unilaterally decide whether a suspicion of unacceptable behavior is sufficient to deprive U.S. citizens of natural, pre-existent rights which cannot be taken away through any agency other than a court of law, and which shall not be infringed by any law or act of Congress and that government.

I know that God Himself extended His hand to that ragtag group of citizen soldiers who fought the greatest empire on Earth to free this land. George Washington (not a Deist!) said in his first inaugural address:

... No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the invisible hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the people of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of Providential agency ...

So if I sound angry, you'll forgive me, please. I watch the systematic dismantling of this country, whose uniform I wore, whose flag I saluted, and I grow angry.

It feels much akin to sitting, grieving, at a loved one's deathbed as they slip away.

In my anger, I gave voice to the frustrations caused by these events, and others. I apologize for the harsh words, but not for the righteous anger through which I observe these continuing depredations upon our country. May God grant us the wisdom and strength to do that which is needful, whatever it may be, to restore and maintain the Constitutional republic which I firmly believe He Himself gave us.

Update: In the comments below, one gentleman included a link back to his site, wherein he proposes to ostracize and/or otherwise refuse to do business with anyone who fails to support the U.S. and the original intent of the Constitution. That's one very good way to proceed.

What Comes Next? We Fight!
