Former Senator Ted Stevens, who may shortly be cleared of the tainted convictions received last October, is being touted as a candidate for Alaska governor in 2010. He hasn't issued any statements, at this point.
A couple of points to keep in mind: Sarah Palin may run again, although she hasn't said anything yet, either.
The other is that Stevens' conviction on seven felony counts hasn't been set aside by the judge - yet - although many expect that to happen.
Psalm 22:27-28: “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord's, and he ruleth among the nations.”
