- A 17-year-old male brandishing a BB gun resembling a rifle with a scope was shot by an Anchorage Police Department officer this morning. Apparently the officer observed the male pointing it at others, and fired his weapon, striking the boy in the arm. Read the rest here.
Howzabouta pic-a-nic basket?
- It seems we have a new bear in the neighborhood where I work. Tenants have observed at least one climbing into our dumpsters, apparently looking for food. The dumpsters are locked shut after hours, so the bears are in the lot at the same time as tenants & customers. Several of us armed-citizen types are on the lookout.
Just in case you had any extra money:
- Gas prices jumped a dime to $2.87 per gallon today.
