My copy of Monster Hunter International just arrived, along with the DVD of Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead. My evening plans are now reading and watching, in that order.

Brigid - it's not every book that grabs the reader in the first page, as you know, but MHI does, did, and I believe you're right. And the kingship is lonely/heavy lies the head/and all that ... but good for an evening, at least.
