It seems there are an awful lot of upset and impatient people, a few of whom have taken me to task for neither calling for nor encouraging an armed response to the corruption in government.
Folks, I know exactly what my response will be - but I'm not your pastor, nor the leader of a militia group, nor involved in one. I don't know anybody who belongs to a militia group.
I've seen enough armed conflict, and have no desire for more. That doesn't mean that it's not coming; I don't think people can keep this bottled up much longer.
Is freedom worth fighting for? That's a dumb question, to most Americans (including this one). OF COURSE. Is it time to fight? That's a much tougher question, and ultimately can only be answered by individuals based on their convictions.
Stay sharp, folks, and don't be goaded into a losing situation by someone else - some in government are hoping you'll start something. Don't do anything on their terms; that's a sure loser.
I can only encourage you to look inward, and make decisions based on your situation and personal convictions. Each must do as he or she thinks is best. When one's back is against the wall, it's amazing how a lack of options can focus one's attention. Like I said the other day, you'd better be sure.
Of course this is ALL just my opinion, and we know how much that's worth ...

It's 37 this morning, and Mr. AccuHunch swears we'll have snow showers tonight, with possible accumulation. Well, it IS still April.
My parents arrived safely last night, and are sleeping in this morning. 12 hours of airline travel will do that to a person ...

I'm looking foreward to November, 2010.
I really hope the American people will take that opportunity to reclaim their United States of America and send the strongest possible message to the White House. One that reads "Enough!" loud and clear. It will be a start.
I only hope the President and his cronies read it and understand it.
Oh, and enjoy your parents' visit.
