Oww

We've been moving furniture, boxes, totes, and so on and so forth, most of the day.

I have aches in places I'd forgotten I had ...

Time to kick back for the evening, methinks.

I always find a good hot shower gets rid of those aches for me.

Take a break and rest sir.

Pain is Nature's way of reminding you that you have daughters.

Hoist a cold one (or hot one) of your choice, and Advil IS your friend!!!

Having gone through much the same activities back in November after Mom's death, I can empathize with you. As for remedies....Old NFO seems to have it covered.

Sit back today and watch the Iditarod start.

It's so nice when a family "pulls" and "lifts" together:)

Lots of good advice, above.

My poor Dad was moving me back from college with all the assorted heavy 80's era furniture and he had a flat and had to unload it yet again. In remembering that, I think I owe him a beer when I see him shortly.

Take it easy and heal up, now.

Preppy, that's very true.

Peter, I hadn't thought of it that way before, but I think you're onto something. :)

NFO, that's good advice, too.

joated, that's not a bad idea.

You're right, Cathy. Thanks.

Brigid, it does make one sympathize, retroactively, with parents who've helped in the past. Thanks.

Good advice, Guffaw. But we don't have time for that this morning. After breakfast, we'll hit the stores for our usual weekend groceries & supplies run. Then we'll see what the afternoon brings.

Midol is good for general soreness and sharp muscle aches. Even when it's the lower back. Jus' sayin'...
Stay warm, stay hydrated, and get some downtime in. :-)

Now that I've stopped chuckling, Wing, I'll say thanks. :) And for the advice? "Yes, ma'am!"
