Then why oh why do we need to do another one? Oh, well.
The white stuff, which was quite welcome after a warm non-winter, is melting already. It's 33 or 34 degrees in most spots around Anchorage, so the snow is slushy already. AccuHunch guesses we'll get into the low 40s today, and in the mid-40s for the rest of the week. The snow will be gone by Wednesday night, at this rate.
The phones were dead when I got to work at 0600; seems the UPS died. But the IT guy came in at a fast trot some 15 minutes ago, and they're back on-line again.
Darn it. :)
This week, we'll find out the value of the appraisal on our new house, and also what the sellers' response to the repair list was. We haven't heard anything about the process since completing the home inspection two weeks ago, and are getting anxious to be moving forward.
Meanwhile, packing continues at a slow-but-steady pace. We won't have to buy much of anything for the new place, and already have everything needed to set up housekeeping there. There are always a few things which are worn out, et cetera, but it's a remarkably short list. I'm okay with that.
That's about all I have for now; more later, I suspect. Thanks for stopping by, friends.

Do you have to sell?
Ed - no, it's the appraisal on the sellers' home that we're awaiting.
Ah yes, NOW the negotiations start... sigh
We'll see, NFO, and I'm sure it will be ... ahem, interesting.
AccuHunch! LOL! 'Hope the house stuff goes quickly.
I hadn't mentioned the AccuHunch WeatherGuess folks in awhile; didn't realize you hadn't seen it before. :)
Thanks for the good wishes.
With regard to all this crap, this too shall pass (as you already know)!
:-)
gfa
Agreed, Guffaw. It's just that the speed of its passing is an issue of concern. :)
