Winter Redux, All Over Again

I'm glad that I had the snow tires removed from my truck on Monday. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been prepared for the two three four inches of fresh snow we have this morning.

'Tis snowing heavily, with what appears to be small snowballs falling from the sky.

Sigh ...

They had 4 inches in Michigan on Monday, I believe it was.
God is having a good laugh, I think. :-)

I wouldn't be surprised, Linda.

Heh. WV is having a lovely Spring. I'm planting without fear of frost.

I expect we'll get one more snow here, maybe two.

The wife has been bugging me to swap out the tires on her car, but I'd rather hold off a couple of more weeks.

PH, good for you! Spring doesn't come early, this far north. In May, maybe.

jim, I probably should have held off until closer to the legal "studded tires must be removed" deadline on 5/1, but thought I could squeak by. As is, it's so wet & the ground is now warm that the snow is just piles of slush, on pavement. I didn't spin much on my morning outing. And down at lower elevations, there's almost no snow to speak of.

Here North of Grand Rapids, we had 6" of snow. I felt so sorry for the robins and black birds. My brother-in-law who is 40 miles north of us got 11". He was NOT happy at all. However, it all melted on Monday, except for little bits of the north facing slopes. So we are back to mud again.

Suz, I understand your BIL’s frustration. We feel the same way every time we get a big snow event after it has cleared off. The ground was even dry. Oh, well.
