Rev - It's 3.999(card)/3.799(cash)across the street from my office in western North Carolina. The rest of town is about the same as the cash price regardless of cash or credit...gonna get worse before it gets better.
It's 4.00 here or 3.99.99. Food had skyrocketed. I don't regret buying my big truck, and actually ran the budget numbers at $5 a gallon before buying. But it's hurting folks a lot

Brigid, we're with you - it's not hurting us yet, but we're not any happier about it. And like you say, there are lots of folks hurting.
What do you expect from a big-oil president that has involved us in 50% more wars than the last guy?
Running around $4.50 for 89 Octane here in SoCal.
